Job overview
Our busy Catering Department is looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Catering Assistants to join our busy Catering team working 30 hours each week.
The Catering Team delivers a high quality catering and retail service to staff and patients throughout the hospital. The working hours for the role are:
Main duties of the job
You will provide a range of support to our catering team which includes picking patient food orders, food deliveries, retail services, cleaning services, front servery & operating till systems.
Food Safety Level 2 food hygiene qualification would be desirable but full training will be provided.

Essential criteria
- Good communication skills
- Have a good understanding of the English language, both spoken and written
Experience

- Previous experience of working in an NHS catering or similar environment
- Knowledge of retail operations

- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
